Plasma Promotions presents…The Unorthodox Paradox

Another unorthodox musical camping event!

On 20th / 21st / 22nd July 2012, Fellfoot Wood will be home to The Unorthodox Paradox.

Fellfoot Wood is nestled away in the picturesque English Lake District, overlooking the vast Lake Windermere. It is a place of beauty and mystery, and has a very unique ambience that suffuses all the events there.

The Unorthodox Paradox will bring you a weekend of diverse and eclectic music, from the calming & pastoral to the wildly psychedelic, all of which will be enhanced by the gorgeous surroundings.

Resolutely non-corporate, there will be no stalls selling silly hats, no over-priced fast food, no sponsorship from Radio 1, and definitely no cashpoints on site. Our sole interest here at Unorthodox Paradox HQ is to provide you with a hand-picked selection of unusual and wonderful music in what is surely one of the most beautiful locations you will find in the UK.

This year the shenannigans have been extended to include another full evening of amazing music, for only a small increase in the ticket price.

    1) How far is the camping from the car park?
    2) Does the bar sell any real ale or at least a bitter?
    3) Are gas camp stoves permitted?
    4) Are there any restrictions for leaving / entering the campsite & car park during the day?
    5) Are there any trolls in the wood?

      Hi Dan,

      1) If you get there early enough there are several pitches where you can park your car right by your tent…most of them, in fact. Failing that, there are two small car parks onsite, both within 10 minutes walk of the entire site (which is small but perfectly formed).
      2) The bar will sell several locally brewed real ales, as well as lager and a selection of wine, spirits & soft drinks.
      3) Gas camping stoves are permitted
      4) There are no restrictions for coming on and offsite during the day, in fact it is encouraged that you get out and about and view the beautiful environment…
      5) Probably.

Hope to see you there 🙂

      Neil.

Hi Mike, unfortunately this is an 18+ event, the site isn’t really suitable for small children. However, if you would like to email me at info@sirreal.biz with further details of who you would like to bring, and their ages, I may be able to sort something out.
      Regards, Neil.
